Ukrainian fishermen Ruslan Kondratiuk and Andriy Morozov, who were detained by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) in September 2018 and held in Russian-occupied Crimea, have been released and are heading to Kherson.
Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova wrote this on her Facebook page. "I have just talked with Russian human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova. She told me that as part of our previous agreements, two Kherson fishermen Ruslan Kondratiuk and Andriy Morozov, who were held in the territory of the occupied Crimea, had been released along with their vessel," Denisova said. She recalled that the fishermen were detained back in September 2018 by Russian border guards when they docked their malfunctioned motorboat on the Crimean coast of Lake Syvash. Kondratiuk and Morozov are now returning home to Kherson region to their relatives, Denisova said. Отправить в:      другие новости
