“The enemy fired 120mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the units of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the Joint Forces Headquarters reports.

In addition, Russia's armed formations continue to shell civilian settlements, endanging the lives and health of civilians. In particular, on Monday, the enemy fired 120mm mortars at Troitske (69km west of Luhansk). No casualties among civilians were reported.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East“, Russian-led forces opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian troops near Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); automatic mounted grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol); heavy machine guns – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk) and Hranitne (60km south of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the illegal armed formations used 120mm mortars and weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to shell the Joint Forces units in the area of Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk); 120mm mortars – near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk).

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported. The Joint Forces units returned fire adequately in response to enemy shooting. According to the intelligence, five invaders were annihilated over the past day.

Today, the illegal armed formations have already launched four attacks on positions of the Joint Forces near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk), Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol) and Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk). One serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded in shelling.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire regime.
