Rumours that chart-topping Ed Sheeran was considering taking a break from the music industry in order to pursue a 'more normal life' circulated on Monday.
But later the same day the 26-year-old firmly shut down the unfounded claims with a simple-yet-effective tweet. Fans immediately expressed their joy at the news their favourite flame-haired singer-songwriter would be around for a long time to come. Ed posted a link to an MTV UK story with the headline 'Is Ed Sheeran really quitting music forever??' with the comment: 'Das B****cks' Immediately after the star addressed the denial to his 18.3 million Twitter followers, many of them reacted with joy.
