The catalyst for the breakdown of their marriage was hinted at in a statement revealing he was 'tired' of living in her shadow.
Now Scarlett Johansson appears to have taken a swipe at her estranged husband Romain Dauriac during a UK TV interview. The Avengers actress, 32, was a guest on Lorraine on Thursday to discuss her new sci-fi film, Ghost In The Shell. Seemingly referencing her ex's jibe that he was sick of following her to film sets with their daughter, Rose, Scarlett insisted that it was important for her child to see her as an 'independent woman' at work. She explained: 'I am so proud to do and I love to do and to be able to show my daughter that and have her come to the workplace and show her I’m an independent woman making it happen is very important for me.' The quip comes after a statement released by Dauriac's lawyers revealed he had been blindsided by the divorce, and added: 'Mr. Dauriac is tired of having to run his life and his child's life based on Ms. Johansson's shooting schedule.'
