Earlier this month, he hilariously revealed that he regularly gets mistaken for musician Ed Sheeran.
And Rupert Grint took things one step further with a comical spoof video, where the pressure of moonlighting as the flame-haired singer got too much to handle ahead of a performance - dailymail.co.uk
The actor, 28, is all prepared to sing before everything becomes too much to handle and he makes the 'shock' confession: 'The truth is Ed isn't real!'
The British star then goes on to rip open his blue plaid shirt - unleashing a Gryffindor top and further sending the audience into shock.
Explaining himself further, he revealed: 'My name is Rupert Grint. After Potter all I wanted to do was stretch myself... create some real magic.
