Anne Hathaway took to Instagram on Thursday to defend her new movie Serenity after critics excoriated the neo-noir thriller.
The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress posted a photo of herself from Wednesday at the New York City premiere of the film. 'We keep it real around here: some critics get @serenityfilm and, like me, find it interesting, moving, ambitious and different, and for some it just doesn't work,' she wrote in the Instagram caption for her roughly 13.1 million followers.
