Snow avalanche risk still remains in Carpathians

A snow avalanche risk still remains in mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions due to snowfalls and snowstorms on Thursday, January 18.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts - Ukrinform.
“On January 18, a considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in the Carpathian mountains due to snowstorms,” the report reads.
