The National Police of Ukraine will purchase professional communication systems from Turkey's leading defense company Aselsan.
The relevant contract was signed during the XIV International Specialized Exhibition "Arms and Security-2017” on October 10, an Utriform correspondent reports. “This contract was signed as part of the competition for the supply of communication systems for the needs of the National Police in the framework of the implementation of state guarantees. The company Aselsan won the closed tender procedure on the proposals of foreign companies, it offered the best quantitative and qualitative indicators," Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov commented on signing of the contract. At the same time, the minister refused to give more details regarding the contract. According to the information provided by Aselsan, the signed contract is a framework agreement between the company Everest and the company Aselsan regarding the purchase of professional communication systems.
