Militants launched 22 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO press center - Ukrinform. In Mariupol direction, militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol) and Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol). In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants fired at ATO troops along the collision line Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) – Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk), using infantry weapons, mortars, 122mm artillery systems and tanks. In addition, the enemy launched attacks on Ukrainian strongholds near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), using 120mm mortars, grenade launchers, small arms and infantry fighting vehicle weapons. In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 82mm mortar fire near Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk) and Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk).
