Russian-backed militants launched 30 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. In Mariupol direction, 21 attacks were launched on the ATO troops. The militants shelled Ukrainian positions near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), and Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), using heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms. Ukrainian troops near Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under 82mm and 120mm mortar fire. The terrorists violated ceasefire four times in Luhansk direction. The enemy used grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms to fire at Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk). Five more attacks were launched in Donetsk direction. The Russian-backed troops used machine guns and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and 82mm and 120mm mortars to fire at Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk).
