Russian-backed militants launched 85 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. As noted, in Donetsk direction, the enemy used heavy 122mm artillery to shell Troitske (69km west of Luhansk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). In addition, the terrorists used tanks to fire at Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk). In Mariupol direction, the militants shelled Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using122mm self-propelled mounts. The terrorists also used 82mm mortars to fire at Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to fire at Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), and Shyrokyne. In Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), using mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns.
