Militants using 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions in Donbas

The situation in the ATO area remains tense. This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform.
"The situation in the ATO area remains tense, but controlled. The gangs of Russian mercenaries used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms to fire at the Ukrainian military positions near Vodiane [16km north-west of Donetsk]," reads the statement.
As noted, sniper shooting of a Ukrainian stronghold outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) was recorded at midnight.
The Russian-backed militants also launched attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from small arms near Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk).
