Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this during a joint press conference with his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Aurescu on September 8, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We discussed in detail promising ambitious projects in the energy sector, primarily those related to electricity, gas and hydrogen. We decided to create a working group on energy issues. We are looking forward to the day when our colleagues with the energy ministers of Ukraine and Romania and business companies involved will begin a detailed, substantive conversation," Kuleba said, commenting on the results of negotiations with his Romanian counterpart.

In addition, he noted that the issue of launching the Isakcha-Orlivka ferry line [across the Danube River] at full capacity was also discussed.

"We have every opportunity to create and implement ambitious projects that will make Ukraine, Romania, and our region as a whole stronger. It would be an unacceptable mistake not to use the opportunities that we have, primarily in the field of energy and infrastructure," the minister stressed.

At the same time, Kuleba thanked Romania for its unconditional support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and condemnation of Russian aggression both in Donbas and in the occupied Crimea.

He also added that security issues, namely security in the Black Sea, will always be on the agenda in relations between the two countries.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is on a working visit to Romania on September 7-8.
