In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire from grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian troops

near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk) and Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol); automatic mounted grenade launchers – outside Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk); mounted antitank grenade launchers and small arms – in the area of Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol); automatic mounted grenade launchers and small arms – near Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk) and Hranitne (60km south of Donetsk); heavy machine guns – outside Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – outside Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); mounted antitank grenade launchers – in the area of Zaitseve (50km north-east of Donetsk).

One serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded in the shelling, another one was wounded as a result of a mortar bomb explosion. The Joint Forces units adequately returned fire in response to the enemy shooting.

According to intelligence, two invaders were wounded on May 12.

Today, the enemy has already opened fire from mounted antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Ukrainian troops near Bohdanivka. No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to ceasefire agreements.
