Today, the Government of Ukraine will extend the contract with Andriy Kobolev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, for another year.
"We make a decision to extend the contract with the company's executive board for another year with monthly and quarterly reporting," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. According to him, the competition for the position of the chairman of the executive board of Naftogaz and the members will be announced in a year. The contract will be terminated if the Naftogaz senior management fails to meet the conditions put forward by the Government, the Head of Government stressed. As Groysman noted, the top management of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine should be skilled professionals and know how to increase gas production, lower gas prices and fulfill other tasks. At the same time, the salary of senior executives should be adequate, not sky-high, the Prime Minister emphasized.
