Russian occupation forces launched 11 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements nine times, on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine over the past day - Ukrinform.
In addition, the enemy used weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire on the Joint Forces units. “In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, invaders used automatic mounted grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian positions near Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm mortars – outside Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports. In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired 82mm and 120mm mortars on Ukrainian defenders near Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Popasna (69km west of Luhansk); 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk); 82mm mortars and mounted antitank grenade launchers – near Malynove (19km north-east of Luhansk); 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic mounted grenade launchers and heavy machine guns – near Lobacheve (17km north-west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars – outside Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk). Three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in shelling in last day. Today, the enemy has already opened fire from 120mm mortars and hand-held antitank grenade launchers near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk) and from small and sniper arms outside Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol). One Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
