NewsRSSCourt declares constitutional bill on Ukraine’s course towards EU, NATO – Iryna Lutsenko

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has recognized as constitutional draft amendments to the Constitution on securing Ukraine’s course for gaining a full membership in the European Union and NATO.
Representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada and MP from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Iryna Lutsenko stated this, the PPB party’s press service reported. “The decision on the recognition of the president’s bill on amendments to the Constitution was supported by the overwhelming majority - 14 judges of the Constitutional Court. Therefore, it gives Parliament the opportunity to consider the document in the session hall," said Lutsenko. As reported, president's bill No.9037 on amendments to the Constitution regarding Ukraine’s strategic course to obtain a full membership in the European Union and NATO was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on September 3. On September 20, the Parliament included the president’s bill in the session’s agenda and sent the document to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine for conclusion. другие новости
