Russian-backed militants launched 30 attacks, including four from heavy weapons, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day - Ukrinform.
“Russian-occupation forces used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, small arms and sometimes weapons on infantry fighting vehicles to fire on the defenders of Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Ukrainian positions near Novoluhanske and Lebedynske came under 82mm mortar fire. The enemy also used 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions outside Hnutove and 120mm and 82mm mortars – near Avdiivka,” the JFO Headquarters press center reports. Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in shelling in last day. Today, militants have already opened fire seven times on Ukrainian troops near Krymske, Malynove (19km north-east of Luhansk), Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. Heavy weapons were not used.
