 NewsRSSMilitants launched 35 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 35 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center - Ukrinform. In Donetsk direction, terrorists fired 120mm mortars on ATO positions near Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian strongholds outside Pisky and Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk) came under 82mm mortar fire. Russian-occupation formations also opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at Ukrainian positions near Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka, Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists used small arms outside Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol). In Luhansk direction, terrorists fired grenade launchers at ATO troops near Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Travneve and Artema. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in enemy shelling.
