Renee Zellweger is set to star in The Thing About Pam, a true crime miniseries that will span six episodes on NBC, marking the screen star's first foray on broadcast TV.
The miniseries starring the Bridget Jones's Diary star, 51, will be adapted from a Dateline probe and a 2019 podcast of the same title, Deadline reported. It centers around the 2011 murder of a Missouri woman Betsy Faria that her husband was initially convicted for, but it was later overturned and the case eventually focused on Faria's coworker Pam Hupp, who the Academy Award-winning Judy actress will play.
